The JFWCC has worked with a wide range of local charitable organizations to provide essential contributions of items and money. 100% of the donations we receive will go to local, Chesterfield County charities. Links and information about some of the charities we work with are provided here, listed in alphabetical order.
Chesterfield Citizens Against Residential Emergencies (CARE)
CARE was formed in 2000 as a 501(C)3 non-profit organization to actively support the community, citizens, and employees before, during, and after emergencies.
Chesterfield Food Bank
The mission of the Chesterfield Food Bank is to provide food for our families, seniors, and individuals in Chesterfield County that would otherwise go hungry. We believe in the community supporting the community to ensure that we are meeting the most basic needs of our neighbors. Together we are stronger, together we can overcome hunger.
Christmas Mother
The mission of the Chesterfield-Colonial Heights Christmas Mother program is to ensure that no family is without food, no child is without new toys, books, or clothing, and no child or elder is forgotten as we celebrate the holidays in our community!
The Doorways
Since 1984, The Doorways has provided lodging and support for referred patients and families who need to be close to the hospital but not far from the feeling of "home". Those who enter our doors find a healing, emotionally supportive environment in a place where community generosity and compassionate care come together.
Intercept Health
Since 1996, Intercept Health has grown from a group home provider to a full service provider of specialized programming across the care continuum. Intercept Health offers a variety of specialized services to meet the needs of individuals and families throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. They work to help at-risk youth, adults, and families succeed through services like treatment foster care, therapeutic aide services, and community homes.
Richmond Justice Initiative
The mission of the Richmond Justice Initiative is to "educate, equip, and mobilize communities with the tools needed to be a force in the global movement to end human trafficking".
